My Entrepreneurial Journey

My journey as an entrepreneur began in 2010 when my previous company decided to shut down operations in Ibadan, Nigeria, and relocate to Lagos, leaving only a few staff, including myself. The decision left many staff members displaced, but their encouragement and determination to retain contracts with numerous companies reliant on our add-on services inspired me to take a bold step.

With their unwavering support and advice, I began traveling between Lagos and Ibadan to execute a plan that officially gave birth to DEB-LINK COMMUNICATION and operating its service in 2009 and got its official basic business name certified on April 11, 2011, with Reference No BN: OY50133. Then, it was later upgraded to a Limited Liability Company with Reference No RC6979523 – legally registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria.

The Early Days

The business started as a cyber café in Ibadan, operating from a spacious four-bedroom flat with a large dining and living area. This ideal location was discovered by one of the displaced staff, who later became DEB-LINK’s Operations Manager. With a motivated team and ample space, we efficiently structured and designed the premises to cater to our services:

General Browsing Section: Located in the central living room, this section served walk-in customers.
Private Browsing Section: The dining area was transformed into a quieter space for VIPs requiring privacy.
Publication Section: Initially my personal office, this master bedroom was later adapted for typing, printing, and other publishing activities.
Training and Rest Areas: Two extra rooms were utilized for computer training and staff rest, fostering a supportive work environment.

The setup reflected innovation and adaptability, with my private office doubling as a workspace and living area, enabling me to be fully immersed in the business from Monday to Saturday. True to our values, DEB-LINK has never operated on Sundays since its inception.

Growing Services and Partnerships

Our humble beginnings soon expanded into partnerships with schools, businesses, and governmental sectors, including:

The Nigerian Army (2 Division Garrison): IT consultancy services, troubleshooting, and technical support during the leadership of General T.C. Eze.
StarLink Communication: Private IT network troubleshooting and marketing services.
Surrounding Schools: Offering computer training and technical support.
Pine Vine Communication: Providing setup and oversight for their Lagos branch.

These collaborations introduced us to individuals who have since become influential figures in Nigerian society. Although confidentiality prevents me from nam

ing them, I am grateful for the trust and opportunities these relationships have fostered.

Today, DEB-LINK has evolved beyond a physical business premise into a global business and networking hub, offering versatile add-on services to businesses and startups. We are proud to have established a presence in the United Arab Emirates since 2022 officially as DEBORAH OGECHI PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES CO. LLC and licensed under Project Management Activities in Dubai. We are excited to provide affordable professional services/solutions that can help enhance and promote the viral growth of businesses in the UAE and are envisioned to continue servicing clients across continents.

MY PROFILE

I am passionate about rendering tech-related services that can enhance business productivity. Every IT-related activity I met was a drive and career challenge for me. As a self-made solutionist, I always try to get know-how or training for any tech-related problems. As I advanced in duties, my workplace became an excellent environment for more development.

My career is focused on Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Automation in Business Administration. I have earned an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) Diploma and Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree at Nexford University. I chose this unique career path, which is also in the line of business because I have the foresight to use my knowledge, expertise, and experience to support or bring about inevitable positive development in any developing economy. I also have two essential additional skills related to I.T. and Media and acquired a certificate from InnoSoft Gulf in Dubai (for Basic Python Programming) and S.A.E. Dubai (for Filmmaking).

Based on my work experiences, self-development, and research, I have earned 16 years in diverse media and information technology areas and have worked on various projects as a team member and lead. As a result, I am prompt in quality criteria service delivery.
